The design project "Harmony with City" by Kevin Chu is an exceptional example of interior design that seamlessly integrates with the urban environment. The concept behind this project is to create a space that not only reflects the city's development but also provides a sense of mental well-being.

One of the standout features of this design is the use of large windows that bring in natural light and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. These windows not only connect the indoor and outdoor spaces but also create a sense of harmony between the residential area and the urban development.

The interior space is carefully designed to be practical and functional, with a focus on making daily life easier for the residents. The public areas are divided into different spaces using strategically placed couches, while the study room features a display cabinet and illuminations that add a touch of surprise to the space.

The dining room includes a bar, which serves as a gathering place for the family and strengthens their bond. The terrace provides a serene retreat where residents can enjoy the panoramic views and find solace from the stresses of daily life. The overall design is characterized by simple colors and lines that create a structure conducive to a harmonious and comfortable lifestyle.

This interior design project covers an area of 150 square meters and was completed in 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan. The design team, led by Kevin Chu, carefully researched and incorporated elements that enhance the living experience and create a strong connection between the residents and their environment.

One of the challenges faced during the design process was creating a space specifically for a young boy who loves music. To cater to his personality, the designer decorated the boy's room with black walls, showcasing his unique charm. This attention to detail and personalization is evident throughout the entire design, making it a truly exceptional project.

The "Harmony with City" design project by Kevin Chu Interior Design Studio has received recognition for its outstanding creativity and ingenuity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2018. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate exceptional technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
